| 0 CommentsDecked Out: A History of Specialty Charger Models and Colors
Dec 29, 2008 at 12:56PMMopar enthusiasts have seen the rebirth of the high impact paints on specialty Charger models like SRT8 Super Bee and Daytona R/T. Charger owners have requested that we post the list of these models. So for those who own a Charger “Buzz” model, we compiled the list of production timing and volume by market and color. Each of the models is unique and includes a numbered dash plaque. In the case of Daytona models, they have always included increased performance and a throatier exhaust.
Challenger enthusiasts should thank their Charger counterparts for keeping the interest high on these models. Challenger has already benefited with the introduction of Hemi Orange and TorRed paints and will soon see the B5 Blue paint launched in the first quarter of 2009. If you’re wondering where we go next, this list should provide plenty of insight.

Team Cowboy, RamChallenge.com
On Monday, I overheard the reality producer Bob, ask LADDER about the song they were playing in the truck while they were racing… LADDER was like, “We weren’t playing a song… we were singing the new DODGE JINGLE!!!” At which point LADDER secured our opportunity to play the song for the reality folks!
First thing, they rounded me n MUFFIN up to play the JINGLE on camera… That was a blast! Hopefully someone will enjoy it! I truly do think that it is “catchy”… Just “thinking out loud”…

| 7 CommentsTime to Vote: Which Challenger Story Was the Best?
Dec 18, 2008 at 9:33AMYou told us how your Challengers have impacted your lives, and now it’s time for you and your fellow RLD readers to select their favorite stories. We selected our top 10 stories for you to vote on, and it sure was hard to pick just 10. If you see a story that didn’t make it onto our list that you think deserves to win, feel free to write in your favorite choice, using the author’s name, in the comments section. To see everyone’s stories, see contest post one and post two.
If you submitted a story and you want to win the Ultimate Challenger Prize pack, including the poster signed by Challenger designers Jeff Gale and Brian Nielander, be sure to tell your friends to vote.
To vote for your favorite story, use the poll at the lower right of the blog’s home page. You can vote once per computer. Voting ends on December 30.
Although we set the original word count at 500, we received a lot of thoughtful entries that we wanted to include in our list of 10 finalists, some of which were longer. In the end, you choose the winners so don’t vote for a story you think is unworthy, and write in your favorite if it didn’t make it onto our list. It’s your passion that keeps the discussion flowing here at RLD.
